After downloading Bedrock
Official Windows / Linux ZIP packages.
- Choose the ZIP for your operating system. Current upstream requirements list Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or later, or Windows 10 version 10.0.15063 / Windows Server 2016 or later. Check the upstream page for changes and older-build requirements.
- Extract the ZIP into its own folder and follow the included startup instructions for your platform. This is a native dedicated server, not a Java JAR.
- Adjust server.properties and connect with compatible Bedrock clients. Keep a world backup before upgrades.
