After downloading Vanilla
Official server JAR from Mojang.
- Choose the same Minecraft version as your clients and use the Java runtime for that release.
- Put the JAR in its own folder. Start it with Java, review the Minecraft EULA, and accept it in eula.txt if that file is created.
- Configure server.properties and restart. Back up worlds before changing versions.
