After downloading Paper
Runnable JAR downloaded directly from PaperMC.
- Select a Minecraft version and Paper build. Use the Java runtime recommended in the official setup guide for your selected release.
- Save the downloaded file as paper.jar in a new folder. Run java -Xms2G -Xmx2G -jar paper.jar --nogui.
- Read the Minecraft EULA and accept it in eula.txt only if you agree. Restart, configure server.properties, and put compatible plugins in plugins/.
